Exhibit Designer
Summary
Skyline Exhibits Alberta is seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented Exhibit Designer to join our Design Team. This role supports our trade show, corporate display, custom exhibit, and branded environment projects by producing high-impact visual assets and accurate, production-ready files.
The ideal candidate brings strong graphic design experience, a solid understanding of large-format production, and the ability to conceptualize visuals for 2D and 3D exhibit environments. Experience in the trade show or custom exhibit industry is a significant asset.
This role operates within a fast-paced, collaborative environment that demands creativity, accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Production

Create high-quality exhibit graphics, large-format print assets, digital displays, templates, and marketing collateral.

Prepare accurate production-ready files, including correct bleed, scale, resolution, and colour profiles.

Conceptualize and develop exhibit design concepts, including rough layouts, sketches, and 3D visualization (Blender experience an asset).

Produce exhibit images using both computer-based and traditional design methods to meet client expectations and deadlines.

Review and preflight all files for accuracy before printing or fabrication.
Collaboration & Client Interaction

Consult with clients to understand branding, communication goals, and design preferences.

Present concepts and design solutions clearly to internal teams and clients.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, and I&D teams to ensure graphics align seamlessly with exhibit structures and hardware.

Coordinate with vendors and related agencies regarding artwork requirements and file specifications.
Internal Support

Maintain organized digital libraries, production archives, and brand assets.

Support sales presentations with mock-ups, renderings, and revisions.

Assist with internal marketing materials, website graphic content, and showroom displays when required.

Perform other design-related tasks as assigned.
Required Work Experience / Skills / Attributes
Technical Skills

3–5 years of graphic design experience (trade show or exhibit design experience is an asset).

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.

Ability to produce accurate, print-ready, large-format files.

Understanding of vinyl graphics, CNC sign-making processes, and large-format print production.

Experience with 3D design software (Blender preferred) is an asset.

Capable of producing hand sketches or conceptual drawings.

Education

Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Industrial Design, or equivalent experience.

We are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The work location is in-person at our Calgary Office, with occasional flexibility to work remotely.
